I wish I had time to finish it before the <a href="http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2022/11/2022-fall-winter-coffee-lovers-blog-hop/">2022 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop</a> ends today, but time is really short today. I took this picture days ago. I like to look at a photo to get ideas for embellishments.</p><p>So, on this card I would add a couple smaller gold thingies at the top (those gold plops at the bottom of the card are the center pieces for paper poinsettias). And I think I would remove the large cup and add several small pretty cups instead. On the inside I'd add a couple more gold thingies.<br /></p><p> </p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrimVxJrrLiF9y7odwthVWdsVMI9PEndmevWoVi_evdj-DAcuUl-FyRU6qVt8ei5mj1tpClJVv3rJYrJ2LnevR_k_kQjS1CeFmWOGKq-PnLZf_ijtbZZAyZfuopl2dIdQ1BG5x0utwchxRCYjBKTQnLmHEPKOd4Q1u7glZH2HyvR__LBHpMZzy1N4PuA/s1964/coffee%20hb.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1493" data-original-width="1964" height="304" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrimVxJrrLiF9y7odwthVWdsVMI9PEndmevWoVi_evdj-DAcuUl-FyRU6qVt8ei5mj1tpClJVv3rJYrJ2LnevR_k_kQjS1CeFmWOGKq-PnLZf_ijtbZZAyZfuopl2dIdQ1BG5x0utwchxRCYjBKTQnLmHEPKOd4Q1u7glZH2HyvR__LBHpMZzy1N4PuA/w400-h304/coffee%20hb.jpg" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLzHju440NlHT6uwx6lAvXzqVyKzL4Dj9imOP8nVPQ-3_laAQi0imsUHCfXNem8D6MVwpQl9rPtjVMBXZj73HijIMuThFP7_gjiIAitcm7RBssy9iLGBJKeFxtUXFcgyKWwubArVfsf4z1hbQwo41dpMyGI3B9ItOHUKxwxpCwBHHHnJkCdCv1NWfPOg/s2344/coffee%20hb%202.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2344" data-original-width="2176" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLzHju440NlHT6uwx6lAvXzqVyKzL4Dj9imOP8nVPQ-3_laAQi0imsUHCfXNem8D6MVwpQl9rPtjVMBXZj73HijIMuThFP7_gjiIAitcm7RBssy9iLGBJKeFxtUXFcgyKWwubArVfsf4z1hbQwo41dpMyGI3B9ItOHUKxwxpCwBHHHnJkCdCv1NWfPOg/w371-h400/coffee%20hb%202.jpg" width="371" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"> <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw6cEf78rGXxdR7B5EpebF2FdUsGErJT345MMOA9QhU4Hqxg-t1Yp4UkPBqTeeJvVzwKGYg6QKsmTJplyM4wgSSdpWAFUZxisEgrUkWPOKErj5UpDJ_GtGswgFbOWXbeEk4ADr9ZfSAz8rG9chFcBEk_pUmnUK3b8bYyLHh31tmOJcdf-OlD0Im_evYw/s1080/Fall-Winter-2022.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw6cEf78rGXxdR7B5EpebF2FdUsGErJT345MMOA9QhU4Hqxg-t1Yp4UkPBqTeeJvVzwKGYg6QKsmTJplyM4wgSSdpWAFUZxisEgrUkWPOKErj5UpDJ_GtGswgFbOWXbeEk4ADr9ZfSAz8rG9chFcBEk_pUmnUK3b8bYyLHh31tmOJcdf-OlD0Im_evYw/s320/Fall-Winter-2022.png" width="320" /></a></div><br /><br /></div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">When I finish the card, I'll post a picture of it. I thought the Covid years were different, but 2022 was really something else, but good! I have been crocheting since I was a child, making scarves, hats, home items, etc. But in the last two years I've gone crazy with crocheting bags and especially designing my own pattern in the last year. I love making bags of all shapes and sizes! </p><p>So, that is why I haven't been posting new cards. I've been making cards for birthday for friends and family, but not posting them online. I'm not sure I even took pictures of them. </p><p>I have continued to folllow different card making blogs and Fcebook pages and when I saw the 2022 <a href="http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2022/11/2022-fall-winter-coffee-lovers-blog-hop/">Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop</a>, I decided to make a few basic cards.</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLn3bkaP3d0rPXLRRudgyeIp3V_bU8Lu6QLTiSE2fAKAtbBRhDlsrfCEaL3QKKb_GTAmz96QLm0_B5fnsi-3S6M-1pJ2p9U7lF2_ou9Op7ZAWnbymdiYULOp8uaNidSsECMwatoROdXbRIGGJQLNzqyjG0gDyQuRtyqa-yhE7-EiuqmoKtXTAiMGmiQg/s2384/3%20cups%20mc%203.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2384" data-original-width="1944" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLn3bkaP3d0rPXLRRudgyeIp3V_bU8Lu6QLTiSE2fAKAtbBRhDlsrfCEaL3QKKb_GTAmz96QLm0_B5fnsi-3S6M-1pJ2p9U7lF2_ou9Op7ZAWnbymdiYULOp8uaNidSsECMwatoROdXbRIGGJQLNzqyjG0gDyQuRtyqa-yhE7-EiuqmoKtXTAiMGmiQg/w522-h640/3%20cups%20mc%203.jpg" width="522" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgW3bs8moSS9C1FXlQMizcwVo3hlwh_1vRCq2Uukyj3_Hvzu5SUCiABGqNO9SkkEmK8Geiykpsos8I6Bs7jgBtwCKqG0ZGvtAJvAh5lBZWOty8GQpIAzScp0UhiK0WVZ-sm7kZvT4ZpU_T7FbtLJtLBVpAV1L1SUrKHyDTKs89Pks_qYBL9Clz3hpypZw/s1080/Fall-Winter-2022.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgW3bs8moSS9C1FXlQMizcwVo3hlwh_1vRCq2Uukyj3_Hvzu5SUCiABGqNO9SkkEmK8Geiykpsos8I6Bs7jgBtwCKqG0ZGvtAJvAh5lBZWOty8GQpIAzScp0UhiK0WVZ-sm7kZvT4ZpU_T7FbtLJtLBVpAV1L1SUrKHyDTKs89Pks_qYBL9Clz3hpypZw/s320/Fall-Winter-2022.png" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><p><br /></p><p>and here are a few pics of my bag designs.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/1187808305/crochet-handbag-clarissa-date-bag?click_key=f702f5788d99a748912135619c8fb0e525e94352%3A1187808305&click_sum=b91bebb5&ref=shop_home_active_7" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="443" data-original-width="402" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGPnMXoChX1L96-ee_eyc_uuWv0xIhVqbKPBBQBs4UnWhZIeSxSrpjXu_cwccLt1n3TudHYIdYUITV1H2ePcHMJMrVIVuyRFaIhde6TwFmg4shsPN0MjeGCmx3SDpfOJYlzSoOo6sjVQwpUNVNOSBgY_8NyR1POikL9KPOoxfDutxfUa_IuxglbiPDgg/s320/Clarrisa%20Date%20Bag%20400.jpg" width="290" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/1116745869/holiday-gift-bag-crochet-pattern-pdf?click_key=529a71ab559273e3d8f14c9ebeda196c3b0b78c1%3A1116745869&click_sum=3e4079c2&ref=shop_home_active_10" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="2082" data-original-width="2433" height="274" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD3J81M_A4w_ArrMIzFPpNLJS4N_PGpOeRAePgnqsDqde0eT1GvLiFX5SPY7lDjMKV3UJ22vGb70-6wCUVFw_q1qLGx_VSbYazsrkgpJQ3zgpC-4OupESb9Cg1LGjKvmYjznC79vy7cUrze9MmDuThlyz1W-R18qYteAoBeJnycTLDcZ07jzIwZpIHTA/s320/gift%20bag%202%20full%202.jpg" width="320" /> </a></div></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Have a great day!<br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /> <p></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>Kathyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04270402157231044990noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707683977145180939.post-42558025734951079842022-04-22T09:43:00.001-04:002022-04-22T09:43:10.754-04:00Smile<p> Here's a really simple, yet elegant, card that could be sent to a man or woman for any occasion -- Smile!</p><p>The basic card is white with black and gold stripes layers. You don't want something too flowery or pinkish, but not too dark and moody either.</p><p>So I just go with bright cheery colors! Here's a colorful fancy fold Happy Birthday card that could be given to anyone of any age. I may make several of these.</p><p>The Happy Birthday flap flips to the right and the green panel opens to the left. A message can be left inside. A cute card that is easy to make.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgZXPTdG-tf-0sZfLfYKdNSK17g-Nki5wsATcbIJcKMcXxW6Hsl5ho77dvvQMgUBj2Ff20XstzbAZ-qyvdAd-hopG9VITTdHvY6ERi7u95WESq0yM0Mz_q0nvTspnMhPgeyBDWA1S_xW4yXmYaRYP09xeY7Yv90YtBxqueUGbtjICeOe-WEobl8qmDlsg=s3000" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2457" data-original-width="3000" height="524" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgZXPTdG-tf-0sZfLfYKdNSK17g-Nki5wsATcbIJcKMcXxW6Hsl5ho77dvvQMgUBj2Ff20XstzbAZ-qyvdAd-hopG9VITTdHvY6ERi7u95WESq0yM0Mz_q0nvTspnMhPgeyBDWA1S_xW4yXmYaRYP09xeY7Yv90YtBxqueUGbtjICeOe-WEobl8qmDlsg=w640-h524" width="640" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Here is another version of this card where you can see the folds.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhosv5i4iKUrg0uYc5XE7cm4zkBsRzJKO9-E0BgJ9IsWBDI7I0eEm07w-eZidpqsmIU898obAqYWDlotNX-pIchDc8dK0ykFcZZJrXR5jHNj2z-tUR_cUU6WGF19sHo0TsMODX5do1kHiZIqyxrjJk2rPzSQZBrzxKE4EPevoo0Z79_JIbeDestwOLqHQ=s2180" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2180" data-original-width="1971" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhosv5i4iKUrg0uYc5XE7cm4zkBsRzJKO9-E0BgJ9IsWBDI7I0eEm07w-eZidpqsmIU898obAqYWDlotNX-pIchDc8dK0ykFcZZJrXR5jHNj2z-tUR_cUU6WGF19sHo0TsMODX5do1kHiZIqyxrjJk2rPzSQZBrzxKE4EPevoo0Z79_JIbeDestwOLqHQ=w578-h640" width="578" /></a></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: #38761d;"><b>Happy Tuesday!</b></span></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: #38761d;"><b> </b></span></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: #38761d;"><b><a href="http://cardz4guyz.blogspot.com/2022/02/fancy-fold.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: black;">Fancy Fold #290 Cardz 4 Guyz</span></span></a> </b></span></span><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> <br /></div><br /><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>Kathyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04270402157231044990noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707683977145180939.post-26901629986172960602021-04-17T11:22:00.002-04:002021-05-15T09:21:05.456-04:00Mother's Day Circle Card<p> I saw a circle card on Pinterest the other day and this type of folded card was new to me. My full circle die didn't seem big enough, so I made my 'circle' card a little bit bigger by moving the fold when I used the circle die. Then I added a white paper doily, an embossed white circle, and then a couple paper flowers and leaves with bling.</p><p> </p><p><b><span style="color: red;"><i>Hope you are having a great day!</i></span></b></p><p><b><span style="color: red;"><i>Kathy</i></span></b><br /></p>Kathyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04270402157231044990noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707683977145180939.post-78454920327344879742021-04-14T19:48:00.002-04:002021-04-14T19:48:46.855-04:00Mother's Day<p>Happy Mother's Day! Here is a card that shouldn't have taken any time at all. but...finding matching papers and the proper sentiment can take time! One of the papers I wanted to use was the polka dot vellum. This piece was a gift from a friend. Vellum and I are not friends. sigh.</p><p> The vellum was attached to an ivory patterned base card. The same ivory pattern was cut for the corner to corner piece. I stamped the sunflower (an old Technique Tuesday Greenhouse Society stamp) on a plain ivory card stock and stamped the sentiment on kraft card stock.<br /></p><p><br /></p><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0N-V9odD5pXRCi-7CU6dO_4wOe0x-uvpxYTd96Y0pOxSZRdq2r_uh7I-rZK8Z6_8vnmAba3ewGo2TNCUeOWe3gHKrPQk7TfdHr7JH5fFCflTKy_9jVTKUJg9EDV8p3K6aoUN6epyKMKQJ/s1498/0414211631a%257E2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1498" data-original-width="1067" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0N-V9odD5pXRCi-7CU6dO_4wOe0x-uvpxYTd96Y0pOxSZRdq2r_uh7I-rZK8Z6_8vnmAba3ewGo2TNCUeOWe3gHKrPQk7TfdHr7JH5fFCflTKy_9jVTKUJg9EDV8p3K6aoUN6epyKMKQJ/w456-h640/0414211631a%257E2.jpg" width="456" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p><br /></p><p><img border="0" data-original-height="396" data-original-width="306" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihXPqMJC2ankkMi37V8Hcj8S329-Fam19IMmQINEsqsoDO4nOXVSNaSyBhh8UqMWhI0DK6ehiKw2Dy-6ujzUgZVEVgHa75hP36btZgWwMwU1THnvydRLdFsMoIRfrcPIMbAxtelQkUHII/w154-h200/TSOT-501.png" width="154" /></p><p><a href="https://trystampinontuesday.blogspot.com/2021/04/challenge-501.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+blogspot%2FmWUBD+%28Try+Stampin%27+On+Tuesday%29">Try Stamping on Tuesday</a></p><p> </p><p><span style="color: #e69138;"><b><span style="font-family: Satisfy;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Have a great day!</span></span></b></span></p><p><span style="color: #e69138;"><b><span style="font-family: Satisfy;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Kathy </span></span></b></span><br /></p>Kathyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04270402157231044990noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707683977145180939.post-47060236325046292672021-03-22T16:37:00.003-04:002021-03-22T16:37:23.488-04:00Need a Hug Pug<p> Need a <strike>Hug</strike> Pug? Cards for men and teenagers cause me a bit of stress. This is my second try on this card. The first went in the trash. sad.</p><p>This is a simple card with a brown base card and beige frame. The light blue card stock is covered with embossed happy birthday sentiments. The number 17 was die cut and adhered to two oval cut outs. A brown ribbon with blue stitching and brown and white twine were added for depth.</p><p>The coloring in the second photo is more accurate. <br /></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsctJ8SJ3b75-TQ4Dl9ReMuH-eWpvJfFajdmaScXJgfyJou7ESTs15xFO6KDJEnHUijRuXtnqwKiJMVCSsACiu9cbSEyI0coirTaQZebqG-TgM_DiLKI-0GuUydnu9zUXOI6tK4B34nk3R/s1453/17b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1453" data-original-width="1201" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsctJ8SJ3b75-TQ4Dl9ReMuH-eWpvJfFajdmaScXJgfyJou7ESTs15xFO6KDJEnHUijRuXtnqwKiJMVCSsACiu9cbSEyI0coirTaQZebqG-TgM_DiLKI-0GuUydnu9zUXOI6tK4B34nk3R/w530-h640/17b.jpg" width="530" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgExtgHdKxnxblzpiw6HJGCDFFxnP7klFzkt06nmtAlHY8tI6SULNUHY3YotnOS4Zzo4JBHXBYZTCoufo7GnHLe3IRXGdk_bfG9nPBH7_mE8fYkY2SwLfKrroFS8Th6InuM7yG3Ri7q94g9/s920/17.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="920" data-original-width="619" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgExtgHdKxnxblzpiw6HJGCDFFxnP7klFzkt06nmtAlHY8tI6SULNUHY3YotnOS4Zzo4JBHXBYZTCoufo7GnHLe3IRXGdk_bfG9nPBH7_mE8fYkY2SwLfKrroFS8Th6InuM7yG3Ri7q94g9/w430-h640/17.jpg" width="430" /></a></div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><a href="http://cardz4guyz.blogspot.com/">Cards 4 Guyz Challenge #266</a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b><span style="color: #073763;"><i>Have a great Sunday!</i></span></b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b><span style="color: #073763;"><i> Kathy</i></span></b><br /></div><br /><p><br /></p>Kathyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04270402157231044990noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707683977145180939.post-6022874510007085432021-03-17T19:00:00.001-04:002021-03-17T19:00:39.571-04:00Blessed are the Hairstylists<p> A few months ago I created a similar card with a Christmas flair. This card seems fitting for this time of year especially since our outside temps have been really low and the sun is hiding!</p><p>For this card I embossed snowflakes on a piece of white card stock and framed it with dark blue card stock and a white base card. I added a few silver drops in the center of the snowflakes. The Happy Birthday sentiment was embossed with silver powder and framed with the same dark blue card stock. An easy card to make but filled with different elements.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMtB-bHlJoPUByQBW91-WaWgyqhEPCQG0uVloUX4JhUk2Q8vPQKMOTd6o1jSYMhWJN5174oKvUZZCApu5zunFiRvcBD0vW0BftPRFd7kpc8B6Zc4KgM6N0imq_Sf2nSTC8qiO-9luU1LRP/s1676/HB+winter+.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1676" data-original-width="1175" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMtB-bHlJoPUByQBW91-WaWgyqhEPCQG0uVloUX4JhUk2Q8vPQKMOTd6o1jSYMhWJN5174oKvUZZCApu5zunFiRvcBD0vW0BftPRFd7kpc8B6Zc4KgM6N0imq_Sf2nSTC8qiO-9luU1LRP/w448-h640/HB+winter+.jpg" width="448" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p><a href="http://cardz4guyz.blogspot.com/2021/02/264-cas-clean-and-simple.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Cardz4Guyz+%28Cardz+4+Guyz%29">Cards for Guyz <span style="font-weight: normal;">#264 CAS Clean and Simple </span></a></p><h1 class="entry-title singular-title" itemprop="headline"><a href="https://festivefridaychallenge.com/festive-friday-challenge-ff0077/"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">Festive Friday Challenge #FF0077</span></span></a></h1><h1 class="entry-title singular-title" itemprop="headline"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;"> </span></span></h1><h1 class="entry-title singular-title" itemprop="headline"><span style="color: #990000;"><i><span style="font-size: medium;">Have a great week!!</span></i></span></h1><h1 class="entry-title singular-title" itemprop="headline"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: #990000;"><i><span style="font-size: medium;"><b>Kathy </b></span></i></span><br /></span></span></h1><p><span style="font-weight: normal;"> </span></p>Kathyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04270402157231044990noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707683977145180939.post-75386822018843538002020-12-06T12:51:00.001-05:002020-12-06T12:54:21.537-05:00May Your Holidays Sparkle<p> Love this card. I just may make several more to send out to friends and family. It also was a fun card to make. Not to mention, it was kind of easy, too!</p><p style="text-align: left;">I used a basic green, red and vanilla card stock plus a pretty plaid designer card stock. I die cut poinsettia leaves with gold paper and delicate pine branches in green. The little circle of bling in the middle of the poinsettia is a little cutie that I picked up at a scrapbooking show years ago.</p><p style="text-align: left;"> I think I may add some more sparkle inside the card. This card was fun to make and a little challenging. The metallic glitter paper is kind of thick so cutting with the snowflake die took quite a few runs through my Big Shot. After I finished the card, a little bell went off in my head - I think the last time I used this glitter paper, I turned the paper upside down so the backing was on top and would cut first. duh??</p><p>Anyhow, I saw this sketch last week on Pinterest and thought I would try a couple different cards. A solid blue basic card folded a couple times with a lovely delicate snowflake on the front and one on the inside along with a die cut Merry Christmas sentiment.</p><p> A simple yet elegant Christmas card. Great to send to a man or minimalist friend. <br /></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgb266FsVlA_dRo-Vf-y1qRJD5hRHz07EYKDl81K450rlAiPvkXkiEA8TeX7H5uyZoriHgviOWDxoGZFP3imJw_CA__i2y-M5qFxLHAS0D681Uknop3BeU-_BjqdzEG1nEhS4Mil1QIhn3S/s1255/blue+snowflake+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1110" data-original-width="1255" height="566" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgb266FsVlA_dRo-Vf-y1qRJD5hRHz07EYKDl81K450rlAiPvkXkiEA8TeX7H5uyZoriHgviOWDxoGZFP3imJw_CA__i2y-M5qFxLHAS0D681Uknop3BeU-_BjqdzEG1nEhS4Mil1QIhn3S/w640-h566/blue+snowflake+2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNXpsGC8GMiyKasFEdn3wfAGNChWshyphenhyphenbKLGigBffspyi4aK_7UEPCuiw3AS_NEBC1xWjWO_mRcgxRhj4BrswQQ-idEpjblUUVpouPBNUUCy0b8y_z9n3GrxM2lBLzgrjlQ-OftBryZtp3S/s1154/blue+snowflake+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1027" data-original-width="1154" height="570" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNXpsGC8GMiyKasFEdn3wfAGNChWshyphenhyphenbKLGigBffspyi4aK_7UEPCuiw3AS_NEBC1xWjWO_mRcgxRhj4BrswQQ-idEpjblUUVpouPBNUUCy0b8y_z9n3GrxM2lBLzgrjlQ-OftBryZtp3S/w640-h570/blue+snowflake+1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEZx5Okh-N1Yx3W72Wd0sNVHYwHSVdM97bWceqOCuN6F-BF2pVbNDP7S63oPP1KDxGDt8Ya7tzWsSrmg3FptZ0vMvzUgkoy4-ScJkAP1yoho40q0GzF8ky2qYiE3kCXtX0MNGa-VHjIBf7/s1253/blue+snowflake+4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1036" data-original-width="1253" height="530" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEZx5Okh-N1Yx3W72Wd0sNVHYwHSVdM97bWceqOCuN6F-BF2pVbNDP7S63oPP1KDxGDt8Ya7tzWsSrmg3FptZ0vMvzUgkoy4-ScJkAP1yoho40q0GzF8ky2qYiE3kCXtX0MNGa-VHjIBf7/w640-h530/blue+snowflake+4.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p></p><p>My second card for this sketch will be in another post.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><a href="http://cardz4guyz.blogspot.com/2020/12/259-traditional-christmas.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Cardz4Guyz+%28Cardz+4+Guyz%29"><span style="font-size: small;"><b>Cards for Guyz #259 Traditional Christmas</b></span></a></p><h3 class="post-title entry-title" itemprop="name"><a href="https://merrylittlechristmaschallenge.blogspot.com/2020/12/mlccb-29-december-anything-christmas.html"><span style="font-size: small;">MLCCB #29 - December Anything Christmas Goes</span></a></h3><p><span style="font-size: small;"><b><a href="https://festivefridaychallenge.com/festive-friday-challenge-ff0073/">Festive Friday #FF0073</a><a href="https://festivefridaychallenge.com/festive-friday-challenge-ff0073/"> </a> (blue, snowflakes, metallics, fun fold)</b></span><br /></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><img alt="" class="aligncenter wp-image-3214 size-full" data-recalc-dims="1" height="200" src="https://i2.wp.com/festivefridaychallenge.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Festive-Friday-0073-challenge-card-e1606975700141.jpg?resize=425%2C425&ssl=1" width="200" /><span> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span style="color: red;"><span style="font-family: trebuchet;"><i><span style="font-size: small;"><span>Hope you have a great Sunday!</span></span></i></span></span></b></p><p><span><b><span style="color: red;"><span style="font-family: trebuchet;"><i><span style="font-size: small;">Kathy </span></i></span></span></b><br /></span></p>Kathyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04270402157231044990noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707683977145180939.post-31742170921605316572020-11-13T11:05:00.003-05:002020-11-13T11:05:44.704-05:00Simple Happy Birthday Card<p> Here is an easy to make birthday card. Each card I have made looks different due to the change in colors and shading. This card is edged in gold and many of the books have gold trimmings.</p><p> I took a card making class a couple years ago and one of the featured ideas was to use a gold ink pen to edge the cards and images. The gold certainly adds quite a bit to the card. Love the gold edging against the black frame.<br /></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjAloMbyVNQ_MgTF8L13w_7OaUsHHEUroDF6dne14E6nzDNX1GHIDUnJCqpFmRYt0YTqTnPJuzv9JbVOILRGVMy9Aczgjfznx7ZY2EGZ-5yGv9BW5Iu76cwT0l5hQXL8je3qQ8SPFo8x7i/s1585/book+stack+cup+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1585" data-original-width="1222" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjAloMbyVNQ_MgTF8L13w_7OaUsHHEUroDF6dne14E6nzDNX1GHIDUnJCqpFmRYt0YTqTnPJuzv9JbVOILRGVMy9Aczgjfznx7ZY2EGZ-5yGv9BW5Iu76cwT0l5hQXL8je3qQ8SPFo8x7i/w494-h640/book+stack+cup+2.jpg" width="494" /></a></div><p></p><p><a href="http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2020/11/2020-fall-winter-coffee-lovers-blog-hop/">2020 Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop</a></p><p> </p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><img alt="" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-15277" height="98" src="http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Fall-Winter-Coffee-Lovers-Blog-Hop-landscape.png" width="200" /> </p><p><span style="color: #2b00fe;"><i><b><span style="font-size: medium;">Have a great day!</span></b></i></span></p><p><span style="color: #2b00fe;"><i><b><span style="font-size: medium;">Kathy</span></b></i></span><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>Kathyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04270402157231044990noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707683977145180939.post-32457554082647708782020-11-11T16:03:00.005-05:002020-11-11T16:03:49.573-05:00Happy Birthday<p> A card full of coffee cups, Happy Birthday and a gift card. We have a beautiful maple tree in our front yard which I love looking at all summer. Usually the leaves slowly turn orange and yellow in the fall. But not this year. It seems like half the leaves fell off the tree today - leaves were raining down!</p><p>So in honor of my tree, I made this card using fall colors (orange, gold, brown, green) in the paper, foil leaves and twine.<br /></p><p> </p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrPHehf_pyhXX_2LAF2jtskRDRQgcXF0JXIepFt2T-QWzKo73iEHz1fOobC9C_1coPU5Vkpn-AS2h7mdRHzJxw8pSjg3TueYkjk4YsNVrUkdhUBJerm4xtXgZ-TXmBIYKeqjS3ihrOMbyj/s1257/mans.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="933" data-original-width="1257" height="476" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrPHehf_pyhXX_2LAF2jtskRDRQgcXF0JXIepFt2T-QWzKo73iEHz1fOobC9C_1coPU5Vkpn-AS2h7mdRHzJxw8pSjg3TueYkjk4YsNVrUkdhUBJerm4xtXgZ-TXmBIYKeqjS3ihrOMbyj/w640-h476/mans.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /> <p></p><p>Challenges:</p><p><a href="http://cardz4guyz.blogspot.com/2020/10/256-colours-of-autumnfall.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Cardz4Guyz+%28Cardz+4+Guyz%29">Cards 4 Guyz Challenge #256 Colours of Autumn/Fall</a></p><p><a href="http://tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com/2020/10/tuesday-morning-sketches-577.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+blogspot%2FRCMysv+%28Tuesday+Morning+Sketches%29">Tuesday Morning Sketches #577 </a></p><p> <img border="0" data-original-height="452" data-original-width="650" height="139" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoGk4gHjvn6BeFh1hEpxE-zNid9yUv4jHuWxuyvY5MsVCo1TCs1gO0_TCIIypG64jWcxhdOhHE2DRPnEY4Sw_8v3eW7UmW8YrZKbEocAANq2KGuwt-ZxKXDscAHb8U8WoJssUheKt3dVA/w200-h139/TMS+%2523577.jpg" width="200" /></p><p><a href="https://festivefridaychallenge.com/festive-friday-challenge-ff0070/">Festive Friday Challenge #FF0070</a> (brown, gold, twine)</p><p><img alt="" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3106" data-recalc-dims="1" height="200" src="https://i0.wp.com/festivefridaychallenge.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Festive-Friday-0070-challenge-card.png?resize=550%2C550&ssl=1" width="200" /> </p><p><b><span style="color: #b45f06;"><i><span style="font-size: small;"> </span></i></span></b></p><p><b><span style="color: #b45f06;"><i><span style="font-size: small;">Hope you all have a great weekend!</span></i></span></b></p><p><b><span style="color: #b45f06;"><i><span style="font-size: small;">Kathy </span></i></span></b><br /></p>Kathyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04270402157231044990noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707683977145180939.post-16777830979227485572020-10-09T11:20:00.018-04:002020-10-09T11:20:00.266-04:00Friends<p>Such a sweet card. Since I have not seen my friends in months (!!), I made a few friendship cards to send to them to let them know I was thinking of them. I've made several cards with this die and love the results. The cards can be a birthday card, a card with retirement wishes or just to say hello. I like the different look of the books with the printed paper and the plain white cardstock.<br /></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEnfR-kZxVRibOi3C68yCNgcSf8MuTHxtuXqlj8z0W17baR1Wktl_-5xVLUH3VV9RYrpH3QsrHuAe0l-hA-SdH-NU9XjzFnQh0RTrLxaMEdAP_u7z5YcTJzVm44RLDPzJwj5v42MkZvv7h/s1739/shelves+blue+pattern.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1739" data-original-width="1264" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEnfR-kZxVRibOi3C68yCNgcSf8MuTHxtuXqlj8z0W17baR1Wktl_-5xVLUH3VV9RYrpH3QsrHuAe0l-hA-SdH-NU9XjzFnQh0RTrLxaMEdAP_u7z5YcTJzVm44RLDPzJwj5v42MkZvv7h/w466-h640/shelves+blue+pattern.jpg" width="466" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwWQpl1a27U9BRXlJwooWhyphenhyphenu_6cD3agwsAhw628WuH9xrqr5oR-ymt5jth2nGfA0yV6bh_aLc5ZIYfThyN2l_vOV6VT0rhLthlJpDe3in5MtvYAsNzd6WsnNPaeqSG70AFTdKDecfsx2AI/s540/shelves+blue+white.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="540" data-original-width="466" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwWQpl1a27U9BRXlJwooWhyphenhyphenu_6cD3agwsAhw628WuH9xrqr5oR-ymt5jth2nGfA0yV6bh_aLc5ZIYfThyN2l_vOV6VT0rhLthlJpDe3in5MtvYAsNzd6WsnNPaeqSG70AFTdKDecfsx2AI/w552-h640/shelves+blue+white.png" width="552" /></a></div><br /> </div><p><span style="color: #2b00fe;"><i>Have a great day!</i></span></p><p><span style="color: #2b00fe;"><i>Kathy</i></span><br /></p><p><br /></p>Kathyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04270402157231044990noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707683977145180939.post-43560003943300967982020-10-02T11:12:00.002-04:002020-10-02T11:12:24.691-04:00All Occasion Card<p>Well, I made this card a few weeks for a challenge and then forgot to post it. I think this virus and change of habits and schedule has me turned upside down. Over the past weeks I have made several cards and there they sit on my desk. So today I will start taking pics and start posting on this blog.<br />
<br />
Here's the first card - an all occasion card - featuring pink and tan die cut flowers on a white paper doily with a brown ribbon. The basic card is dark brown with a white cover and bright pink tag. The center of the pink flower is made of flower fluff. </p><p><br />

I made this card for the <a href="https://festivefridaychallenge.com/new-challenge-7/">Festive Friday Challenge #FF0063 </a>celebrating International Day of Friendship. From the inspiration list I chose pink, green, friendship sentiment, polka dots, flower and embossing. I had fun making this card with all the different elements.<br />
