Sorry I Missed Your Birthday

Gosh, I seem to need a belated birthday card quite often.  Now I will have one ready to go!  And I love beachy themed cards.  Can't wait for warm weather and the ocean.

A while back I picked up this Tim Holtz Alterations Mini Sand & Sea magnetic die set, but never used it.  I don't think I have the correct equipment for it as it doesn't work in my Big Shot and/or I don't know how to use it.  I also neglected to read the fine print:  " Use with Base Dies or Base Tray, Premium Crease Pad Recommended."  Hmmm.  

Well, I struggled and somehow with lots of padding, the die worked.  I will investigate base dies and base trays....

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Thought I would begin the new year with an almost white on white card.  The lovely Tim Holtz reindeer is backed by a beautiful embossed white card.  The bottom mat is a pattern of 'MERRY CHRISTMAS' in white on red.  The finishing touches are a little silver ribbon bow and some bling!

This will be my first Christmas card for 2016 and I think I am off to a great start.
