In the last post, I mentioned I could post two more cards. After posting this card, I will be getting ready for a party I am hosting tomorrow. I would much rather be making cards than cleaning the house, but duty calls....
Congratulations to the winter graduates!
Here is card #6 in the 2017 Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop:
Well, I can post two more cards for the 2017 Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
The first is a colorful gift card holder with the sentiment, "Sending a whole latte love your way." The tag slips into the gift card holder. Love the colors. So very festive!
Since it is still snowing, I decided to make another coffee related card. Below is a birthday card decorated with poinsettias and two little darling coffee cups.
I love poinsettias. Every year we buy plants to give relatives and friends. This year I crocheted a pot cover in red yarn with a white furry top -- so cute!
Well, the snow is falling like crazy here. The estimated 2-4 inches was wrong -- lots more. The roads are still clear, but everything is covered in white. So pretty to look at. And I am so glad that I don't have to go out and I can make coffee cards!
I'm a bit disappointed in the card. I'm not sure if the messy edges on the cups are my inking problem or if the stamp has rough edges. And my gold trimming was going along well until....
My goal is to make 8-10 coffee related cards. I might not get them all created as this is such a busy time of the year, but the time spent in my cave is so relaxing, I just might do it for my health!
Now that Halloween is over, I think I can start thinking about Christmas -- a cute set of little note cards that could be used as Christmas cards or for thank you cards.
Here is my last card for the 2017 Fall Coffee Lovers Blog. Sigh. I love making these cards and love this blog challenge. I don't remember how I came upon it, but I'm so glad I did. Can't wait for the winter blog challenge!
We are hosting a birthday party tomorrow which should be fun. Last summer picnic (grilling and potato salad) and terrific weather.
Love this burnt orange card stock - so perfect for fall. Two tea or coffee cups, a doily and a couple paper flowers on the orange background make up this sweet card.
