The Best Sister

This is another phrase from a t-shirt in a catalog.  My sister cracked up when she saw it and said she was going to send it back to me someday!

Using my computer and printer, I printed the phrase on a pretty background and added a few embellishments.

And today is my sister's birthday.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Orange!

Hi everyone!

My stats indicate that my posts are getting lots of views, but rarely a comment.  ;'(

Please comment away!!!  Let me know what you think of the cards, how would  you do it differently or whatever!


The past couple weeks have been a little hectic with vacation and organizing my craft room.  Hopefully, I will be able to make a few cards this week.  So in the meantime, I will post cards made in 'class.' 

Isn't orange a pretty color.  So cheerful and clean looking.  I like all the white space on the first card.  This was super easy to make.

The green and orange on the next card go together beautifully.   This card was also fairly easy to make.  The most time consuming task was snipping the flower.  I have forgotten the correct term for cutting out images.   Some people really dislike snipping flowers and others love doing it.  I'm okay with it as long as I don't have too many to do.  But I'm not very good at it as I have irregular white borders.

Here are some cards I made in "class."  I don't have a lot of stamps, so I really enjoy her ideas and creativity!

These cards will be great to send to men.   The cards have lots of layers and stamping.  All Stampin Up products, too.

Hope all is well with everyone.  I think our heat wave has lifted a bit today.  My poor flowers and vegetable garden.

One of the good results of this 90 degree weather is I stay indoors and make cards!  Yay!!

I found a similar card on Pinterest and cut out my own template and added the plaid scarf and eye.  Isn't he cute?  Perfect for the Scottie or dog lover!

This was a get well card I sent to a friend in the hospital.   I love this tulip stamp.  The stamp is part of the Greenhouse Society series at Technique Tuesday.

Just a Note

Just a Note -  clever isn't it?  I saw this card on Pinterest and was reminded of a friend who loves playing the piano so I decided to make her a set of cards as a gift.  She loved it!
